The Cat & The Mouse

Yesterday, saw a black cat and a little mousie..
The cat was eying the mouse for quite sometime and going to hunt it down...
And the kaypoh me, go and shoo the cat away...

Hmm...
After the "good cause" that I have done, I was thinking probably I shouldn't have interrupted it?
My initial intention was not wanting the cat killing the mouse...
But then come to think of it, maybe I shouldn't have interrupt the nature?
It's natural for the cat to kill the mouse...
After all, mice are dirty creatures and could be disease carrier...
Maybe the cat was hungry too and I go and ruin its dinner meal...

ok lah...The above is small issue only...
But I just love to position myself into dilemmas after what I've done in whatever the things that I do...
There's always two sides in every matter/issue...
Neither correct or wrong also...
But just in future, probably I just need to 'bo chap' in issues that is not related to me...Don't be a KAY POH CHEE!! hehe

Cause and Effect

here goes the philosophy:

whatever actions that you have done, whatever result that you have to bear...
the cause and the effect...
there is no such thing as having the cause with no effect...'coz it will appear to you sooner or later...when the time is ripe...
foolish actions, then you have bear with foolish result...
but then what the chinese say: 傻人有傻福 (foolish people have foolish luck)...
it maybe some blessing in disguise with the foolish act...who knows?

How to build love?

anyway, just click on this nice article on how to build love
it talks about the stages of long lasting love, which i find might be quite true... not too sure >.<
told ya, i'm not a 感請專家....haha...

To kill or not to kill?

Well, as promised writing down the serious thoughts that I had in the past week...

Question in thought: If you as a parent have discovered the unborn baby is going to have permanent disease such as down syndrome or disability, would you still let the unborn child come into this world?

It's a tough decision to make... This is what my thoughts are: If you are gonna give birth to the child, you have to think of the physical, emotional and social stress that you and your child have to go through later in life... you have to be stay strong for the child all the time, support the child with whatever you can, in terms of financial and the emotions. but what if you leave this world one day? who's gonna support the child when you are gone? who's gonna take care of the child? it's really pitiful...

But what if I don't let the child come into this world? Ain't I be too cruel to kill the child and not let the child see the wonderful things in this world? And somemore it's your own child, it's not that easy to conceive a child, you know...And in terms of Buddhism, no killing please! zzz...

So, it's really a tough decision to make. Imagine the agony that you are going through if you are the parent...

Anyway, just a random thought only...

(Happiness)

what is happiness?
just a thought...
are you happy right now? how do u define happiness?
for me, simple...
everyday when i wake up in the morning, i am happy coz i lived for another day :)
i am happy that i am blessed with a life with no disability, that i lead a normal life...
i can walk, talk, see, hear, sense, feel, think, eat, sleep...
i am blessed to have caring family and friends too...
but somehow, us humans will always grumble when we are not satisfied (sometimes it's just some very small matters) and this causes unhappiness... this only creates trouble for ourselves... haha... so why not we let it go and just be simple?
but then not easy to let go and be simple sometimes.... haiz....
very complicated! zzz

wonder

i'm wondering what i am doing right now?
most ppl at my age, either have lots of $$, building a career, or having preparation for a new family.
i have none of the above... sighz...
i dun have any $$. i dun have a career yet. and i dun even have a mate to start a family.
just wondering only... another 3 months and 20 days... i'm turning 26! but i think i'm in the mindset of forever sticking my age to 25.... haha... still young at heart can already... :)

btw, had a funny conversation with my nephew... he was asking me to sponsor his camera lens... er.... as usual, i say i very poor lor... and he don't believe... and he say i will spend like a duchess for my marriage... HAHA...dunno how he suddenly touched the marriage topic also...
first of all, ur aunty here don't even have a partner to have a marriage in mind lor...
second of all, even if i were to get married, i won't spend $$ on my wedding. just spend a few bucks on ROM fees, a small tea ceremony and one or two dinner table with both sides of the family...GAO DIM! oh and i forgot, need wedding ring hor? no need too extravagant, just a small symbollic of being married... haha... that's all.. simple and practical!:p

home sweet home

i was talking to my friend the other day 'coz i wanted to pass him something back at home...
so he offered to come to my house and collect stuff...
then i asked him, "u still remember my place?"
this is what he replied, "the top of XX garden. who can forget?"
haha... yea... the top of the garden... no need directions also know how to find... haha

my home, was built by my daddy's hands.. even before i was born at that time...
my daddy bought this piece of land, next to a rubber tree area, next to a small hill, and build it with bricks and wood...
my home, a windy place...winds will blow and the sound is quite scary at times, like those in the children's story when it was raining and the trees are swaying hard...
my home, a wild place... u occasionally see wild animals over at my place... wild boar, wild chickens, eagle, snake, squirrel, monkeys, and even tapir too!

ahh... thinking of home... just makes u wanna go back... i really miss home... and i really miss my parents... they provide me with shelter, food and water... sigh... just miss them so much... always praying hard that they are in good shape...

Hidden Talents

It seems Britain's Got Talent is providing a lot of hot news recently. Each week we've had a surprising talented person emerged out from this country.

The first was Susan Boyle. Millions of hits in Youtube to watch how her performance was during the show. Yeah, I agree she had an amazing voice despite her looks. That says it all. I still don't understand why people are so hyper about it. Yeah yeah.. We all judged her by her looks and condemned that she was a lousy singer until she opens up her voice. Sure, she had an amazing voice. And that's all about it! There are so many talented singers out there who can sing and act in the broadway lah, but also same as her who is waiting for a chance to get to perform. So, there's nothing to talk so much about.

Then a week later, Shaheen Jafargholi performed. 12 year old boy who sang exceptionally well when he was given another opportunity by Simon. But this talent was not as huge publicized by the media as Susan.

Another week passed, another contestant wowed us again. 10 year old ballerina, Hollie Steel who had an amazing voice as well. She was again misjudged by Simon when he wanted to stop her dancing until she opens up her voice.

I must say, Britain had a lot of hidden talents. They really sing so well but wasn't given chances to break into the commercialized music industry. Way to go, Britain! Continue digging up hidden talents in your country. Look at Leona Lewis from X-factor, how successful she is.

Christmas!

It's the season of joy, peace, hope and love. Here's wishing a merry merry christmas to everyone! :)

Spent Christmas day and post-christmas days @ Orchard. Imagine the crowd there. Crazy lot of people everywhere in Orchard. It's the usual Christmas celebration @ Orchard. Yup! The Christmas celebration that I meant was....SHOPPING!

Surprisingly, people out there were saying economic downturn, job cut, pay cut etc.... but still there are really a lot of people out there buying stuff. Shops are having discounts and it's the year-end sales. People can still buy and buy. 70% here, 50% there. It was really tempting.

The crowd was really a lot. Be it locals or tourists, everybody are really spending, which is good for the country. From the way I see it, the atmosphere was really good despite the bad news about the world economic. It's as though this Christmas was really merry and joyous. Maybe it's the season of giving as well. Father Christmas would sure love to see this kinda atmosphere. Hohoho! Laughing out happily :D

Weekend Shopping Spree

*wink wink* hehe...

Spent my weekend on shopping spree with mom and sis...
Finally got something that I was looking for my birthday present...
Bought 2 pairs of earrings, 2 pairs of jeans, one T-shirt and one pair of shorts...
Thanks sis for the jeans as my birthday present :)
Well, strike off some of my birthday wishlist...

And now, gotta save a little bit because this month overspend a little already...
Will be going back home often lately and need to save some money for my best friends' wedding...

Hmm.. speaking of shopping, we saw an old man who was like 70 years old, limping while walking, with 2 young chinese ladies, probably in their 30s. The two ladies were busy choosing their shopping stuff while the old man tagged along with them from behind and helped them to pay at the cashier counter. I just pity that old man. Why would he fell into this situation? It's like a trap to him and yet he fall for it. Imagine that he had his own family wife and children at home waiting for him or his family situation is not that well-off... but he spend his money on these chinese girls and not his family. Just pathetic. And furthermore, these chinese girls just wanted his $$. But then, couldn't blame them, could we? This is what called as “你情我愿”or "give and take".

I just felt that sometimes people can be quite stupid, okay stupid is quite a strong word. People can be quite blind and obsessed with what they are into. That's why we don't act rationally sometimes. There's always feelings inside people that they act irrationally. "Go with your heart" saying is a definite no. Although sometimes the advice is like that. But I think we must always go with your brains and act with your wisdom. In the end, there will be fruitful result once you acted with your wisdom.

Let's work hard in attaining our own wisdom and not be blinded by your heart. Of course not blacken your heart. If not you will become a heartless person. haha

Over

It was officially over.
Somehow I felt relieved. It's like a burden taken down from my shoulder.
I shall learn this lesson well.
Moral of the lesson: Never trust a person with all your heart. People can be very fake, things that they say were never out from their heart.
Well, it's over and done with. Just remember this very important lesson and treasure what you have now.

Intuition

"Follow your heart
Your intuition
It will lead you in the right direction
Let go of your mind
Your Intuition
Is easy to find
Just follow your heart baby"

This small paragraph was taken out from Jewel's song "Intuition".
I find that it is quite meaningful.

Sometimes, we just need to follow our intuition. Just follow it without thinking the consequence. You will never know what will happen in the end. Whether it turn out good or bad. But we always look in a good way. And with hopeful thoughts, that it will turn out good. However, there will be times that it didn't turn out as what you've wanted. Fret not. Take it as a lesson and next time you will get wiser when following ur intuition.

I myself always follow my own intuition. Hence, having very impulsive actions because I based on what my heart wants to do. And this might have hurt the people around me and myself as well. But I do not have regrets. Though, sometimes i get quite disappointed with it. But after awhile, get used to it and stand up quickly, as life continue goes on.

Thus, I still believe that following your intuition is the best way to live your life. No worries about what the end result will be or what so ever. It's that simple! Follow what your heart says and just do it! and this remind me of another song by Roxette "listen to your heart", but that song lyrics meaning is more for lovers than for in general situation. hehe.
