Oooh... I finally did something I've been wanting to do since I was young...Vertical Challenge!
not that bad... climbed 63 storeys high...
and the feeling was GREAT! when u finally reach the finishing point, it looks like heaven... the view was GREAT too.... the sea, the buildings surrounding from the very top... too bad no pictures are allowed to be taken... sigh...
the even greater things was the support and the cheers!
my sis accompanied me going for this event and she had to wake up as early as me to get there....
thanks sis!
and also climbing at mid-point, u hear ppl cheering and clapping from above and saying "SOON! SOON! COME COME! ADD OIL!"... that's really motivating...
and when u reaching 60th storey, u will see the LIGHT! and u know, just a few more steps and all this will be over :)
Yay! I'm proud to say that I've done it!!!
Next up, Mount KK!!! haha...

How Peculiar
Funny incident just happened to me just now while i was on my way back from school...
I sat on the bus, adjusting my big fat butt on the seat...
Then this indian guy sitting next to me, was looking at me...
seeing that he was looking at me, I just sheepishly smiled at him...
he approached me by saying, "you look familiar..you've always take from this bus stop..u from that faculty?"
we talked all the way till we parted at the mrt station...
and that's how i get to know a complete stranger...

the night the city sleeps
Earth Hour... 27 March 2010..8.30pm-9.30pm
the night the city supposed to sleep...
wouldn't it be amazing to see the busy city life sleeps? in darkness...not totally... but at least with dimmed environment?
wouldn't it be nice when u can gaze to the sky, watching the sky in total darkness? and especially in a busy city life?
maybe i was expecting too much that night...the more that u expect, the more disappointed that u get...sigh...
i couldn't even do the simple magic trick, calling out "alakazam!" and poof! off went with the lights... haha...
probably there wasn't any awareness about this Earth Hour thingy... or people couldn't even be bothered? how to save the earth with such attitude??
however, as a consolation to my disappointment, i was able to see my stars in the sky while walking back home...
awesome! at least better than nothing for the night, right? haha

Special Dedication to p85
today was the day to return u back to ur true owner...
i never say goodbye to you properly...
although we have been together for merely 10 days, it was a wonderful feeling of having you...
at first u were reserved, but after awhile, u opened yourself...
now u are gone, the room seems so empty without you :(
p85, i'm gonna miss u dearly...

My Baby :)
Yeah! I got my new baby... the name is G....
Baby-G! haha...
well, been eying at watches for a very long time (still not used to the days without a watch)...and in the end wanted a more sporty type of watch...hence, the Baby-G :p
the thing is today must be my lucky day to have met this shop assistant...the shop was having promotion..having 20% discount...then i liked the white band baby...so think for quite a long time, looked at other watches...still tried on my baby...then tried other colour type baby models....still not as nice as the white one... hesitated... in the end bought! haha...
then at the cashier counter, expected to pay with 20% discount lor... then this guy assistant while nicely packaging my baby into a box, asked, "local?"... i said "nope! malaysian", with a smile :p well, i was kinda dumbfounded when he asked whether i was local, coz i was speaking in cantonese with him...locals seldom speak canton lah... then i asked him, where's he from? he said, malaysian too! then, when payment came, he said, give u additional 5%...coz we same kampung....wahhhh... so nice of him....hehe... nvr expected it...then gave him a bigger smile and thanked him...
so moral of the story? hehe.. always give a BIG smile to a guy sales person... who knows u can get a good discount... haha
p/s: ooh... and i found out my baby model was really the latest one... released 2 months ago only...

Slow Jogs
Just went for a jog... haha... felt really nice after a jog...
yea.. recently been trying to train up my stamina... thanks to my nephew, who has been pestering me to go for those runs and finally signed myself up for this charity run - 'run for hope singapore'
and i last time used to dread to go for jogging... why? coz everytime i jog, i have no stamina, and secondly, i start to have pain at my right abdomen as i jog... and i found out what's the reason right now... it's called "side stitch"... well, there's studies on why side stitch happen and one of it saying that because the liver is at the right side, and when u don't breathe properly, ur diaphragm presses on the right liver and starts to hurt...so if u stop for awhile, it won't be painful anymore... if it still hurts, then it's another problem and have to go check with medical doctor already... so the counter for it is: breathe when u are stepping on ur left leg instead of the right step... it sure helps a lot for me :) that's why i can continue to jog... haha
now starting to have an exercise plan for me... at least jog twice a week...how many rounds? haha... still a beginner level, slowly and gradually add up the rounds...
btw, it will be very encouraging if u guys let me know if i got slim down after awhile..... haha... :p

Random Updates
this post is just some random updates :)
*****
last Sunday was my first trip to tree top walk near MacRitchie Reservoir. went with gals. together got 4 of us. Abit scary at first when we walked inside the park thru venus drive. On the way saw a group of monkeys. Scared that they would attack us (all thanks to the monkeys at my home loh, i know how they can behave when they come in groups)... No wonder the sign says it's dangerous to walk that path lah...
anyway, while walking towards tree top walk, saw 2 hunks jogging... nice body they have... and all sweaty... :p managed to capture their pic from behind... ahhh.. what a sight!
lunch we had in Liang Court (Clarke Quay), ate at 2 diff places... erm.. main course Jap food, dessert Italian food... haha... anyway, found out the place selling cheap Escargot (snails) at this Italian rest. Only 5++... first time i ever tasted snails and not bad!
*****
remb the wear-skirt-for-the-whole-week challenge? I took it up and today was the final day. hehe... the prize was only apple carrot juice with milk.... cheap right? but the victory was sweet and priceless... haha... because nvr ever underestimate me! haha...
anyway, on the course of wearing skirt for the whole week, ppl been questioning why i wear so nice.. "go out on date ahhh?" "what's the special occasion?" lolz... some ppl also commented that i look nice, look very 淑女... and some more unknown person smiled at me for no reason -.-'' maybe they think i "fatt hao" lately also... haha
and finally i can wear back my jeans! so relieved!

What I've Done
In this farewell
There’s no blood
There’s no Alibi
‘Cause I’ve Drawn Regret
From the truth
Of a Thousand Lies
So let Mercy Come
And Wash Away
what i`ve Done
I've faced myself
To Cross out what I’ve Become
Erase Myself
And let Go of What I’ve done
Put to rest
What you Thought of Me
While I clean this Slate
With the Hands of Uncertainty
For What I’ve Done
I start again
And whatever pain may come
Today this ends
I’m Forgiving What I’ve Done
What I’ve Done
Forgiving What I’ve Done

Eyeball Scare
Today, something very embarassing thing happened. Sheeesh! A lesson well learned.
I was trying out my new pair of daily disposable contact lens that i bought the other day. 10 pieces for $15. (no need to buy those boxes as they are quite a lot. that's what i was thinking)
Anyway, as a first time user, i managed to pick up my courage to poke my fingers to my eyeball. Really need a lot of courage as all this while I had fear of touching my eyeballs.
Ok, putting it on was not that bad after all. But somehow, I felt abit giddy after wearing the contact lens. It's like u wore a much higher power kind of spectacles that make u feeling abit nauseous.
Then here's where the most valuable lesson i've learnt. Since I was feeling not very comfortable with the lenses, I tried to remove it. But then, I couldn't remove it. I could not see where the lenses are. So i pushed and pushed to try and remove it. And my eye started to twitch. From my single eyelid to double eyelid. Panic! Something was wrong already. I thought the lens was moving to the eyelid already. PANIC PANIC! And i was late for my violin lesson :(
Without second thought, I went to the nearest optical shop to ask them to help me remove it. Sigh. There was a lot of customer there and the optometrist was busy attending them. Finally when it was my turn, she open my left eyelid and keep checking where is the lens. And she also couldn't find it. She asked me what contact lenses was i using. I replied "focus daily". then she said, "HAH?! First time users not supposed to use that brand! It's difficult for them to remove it" then i was like "uh oh!"
After that she had a thorough search, she said the lens is not at the lid there. Maybe dropped off already. Erm... I don't remember it was dropped off. So i asked her to help me remove the right eyes' contact lens. So she helped me removed it. Hey! after removing it, my eyesight is still okay. So i asked her to help me check my left eye again whether the lens was at the eyeball there. and there it was! She helped me remove it also. What a relief! My blur eyesight is back! Thank god my eyes are okay!
After this incident, never will i ever wear contact lens anymore! what if i could have blinded by these stupid contact lens? What a scary thought! but funny thing is, normally the contact lens that people wear are very visible when you look into their eyeball, as you can see a circle covering the eyeball. But mine was not detectable when wearing it. Even the optometrist couldn't see the lens was indeed at the eyeball when she was searching for it.
So here's a thought. Maybe i'm not suitable to wear contact lens as my eyeballs are too big! But the optometrist didn't say that lah. She asked me to buy contact lens from her somemore. Anyway, for first time users, please do not use focus daily. The optometrist recommend to use Bausch and Lomb contact lens.
After all, i curbed my fear of poking contact lens into my eyes. That's what I've been challenging myself all this while. coz i'm the one who wants to try anything at least once in a lifetime. But because i'm not that suitable for it, I will never wear it again. And for the sake of my health. :)

Happy "Dong Zhi" Festival!
today is 冬至 (dong zhi).
usually on this festival, we usually eat 汤圆 (tang yuan).
since i didn't go back home and celebrate, decided to cook a meal for this festival with sis, plus we bought those readily-made tang yuan for the celebration.
the tang yuan was not bad. the fillings of the tang yuan was super yummy. (fat fat already... keep eating >.<)
i also made the sweet and sour meatballs. haha... the meatballs are not bad also. is up to the standard. mind you that i don't cook very often. :p
but during the cooking session, some incident happened and this was the very first time happened.
well, after frying the meatballs, i wanted to cook the sweet and sour sauce.
so after putting all the ingredients into the frying pan, i wanted to put ketchup. I used the bottle of ketchup that was left upside down for quite a number of days. you may ask why it was left upside down. becoz it's going to finish soon and there's still some left at the bottom of the bottle, so left it upside down so that it will come out from the bottle easier.
but never would i have imagined that when i opened the lid of the bottle, "POP!". A loud "POP!" and ketchup was splashed everywhere! on the food hob, stove, wall and even on my sis who was standing next to me while i was cooking. luckily is on my sis clothes and not her face! if it's her face, that would be an even funnier sight la... wahahaha...
at that moment, i was totally stunned at the sound of it, and also i saw some vapour coming out from the bottle. stunned until i forgot that my food is still cooking on the gas stove.
It was like opening a gassy soda bottle. i guess that the pressure inside the ketchup bottle was too big that it made the whole kitchen in a mess.
well, this is my first time encountering such incident. it was funny! haha... but it was painful experience also. coz i need to clean the whole mess. zzz
what a drama for "dong zhi" day! haha
usually on this festival, we usually eat 汤圆 (tang yuan).
since i didn't go back home and celebrate, decided to cook a meal for this festival with sis, plus we bought those readily-made tang yuan for the celebration.
the tang yuan was not bad. the fillings of the tang yuan was super yummy.

Jinxed
I think I'm being jinxed. AHhhhhhhh!
Yesterday night, while walking back and walking down staircase, I sprained my ankle. :(
I saw the two steps as one step and gave a wrong estimation of the distance. Sent the wrong estimation to my brain and telling my foot to step the wrong estimation of distance, resulting in spraining my ankle... luckily I didn't fully fall down that will hurt my backside.
sigh... I guess I'm being a jinx. Recent happenings wasn't good to me. sighz....
anyway, last weekend went back home to attend my friend's wedding. Seems like I wasn't the one who is still enjoying being single. haha... but went back really met up old time friends and know their recent happenings. Some of the old classmates going to get married... so fast lor.. we are still young leh...
also, I listened one good advise over the weekend. Next time, don't go too serious into relationship, just take it as casual dating. If too serious, will get hurt. I'm still losing my faith in relationship and still abit sad. I dunno what's wrong with me. Hopeless lah...
Totally a jinx!

Over
It was officially over.
Somehow I felt relieved. It's like a burden taken down from my shoulder.
I shall learn this lesson well.
Moral of the lesson: Never trust a person with all your heart. People can be very fake, things that they say were never out from their heart.
Well, it's over and done with. Just remember this very important lesson and treasure what you have now.
