RIP Patrick Swayze

This morning was on the bus, saw the news of him. Initially didn't take too much notice of his news, but when the news headline showed that he died of pancreatic cancer, I respect him totally. He has been fighting the disease and struggling for the past 20 months and still involved in filming drama series "The Beast" when he was sick. No kidding for a cancer patient who undergoes treatment and still have the energy for acting. I guess he must have loved acting.
For those of you who don't know he is, he's the one who acted in "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost". Go youtube and watch his dancing moves in "Dirty Dancing" and his infamous pottery making session with Demi Moore in "Ghost".

Lady-like Mink?

hehe... today dunno what mood i was into that this morning when i wake up i felt like wearing a skirt? haha.... it's very rare for me wearing a skirt lor... once in a blue moon...
and then my friends always give a shocking look that i wore skirt to school.. =.=''
what? i'm a girl lor... not that i can't wear skirt what.. hahaz....
but wearing skirt make me look quite feminine i guess, got the teacher type look... ppl always commented that...haha... happy coz seldom get praises that i'm lady like lor...
then got ppl challenged me to wear skirt in school for the whole week leh....
still thinking of whether to accept the challenge... quite challenging for me also... coz i have to act lady like for the whole week? so uncomfortable... and some more must sit properly... and some more lab very cold sometimes ler.... still thinking...haha....

Too Blunt Too Sharp

Today i just realized that what I say does affect other ppl. Sometimes, I say words that are too blunt and straightforward that it will hurt other parties. I'm sorry if you've heard what I've said and still taking it at heart. I didn't mean it. I apologize for what I've said. That's why I rather be a listener than talking. Blame it on my Sagittarius traits, I guess... Nah... Think I shall watch out my mouth sometimes...Sometimes silence is virtue. Reflect reflect...

I passed my qe yesterday! i didn't do my best during the presentation though. but luckily i passed... phew!
really wanna thank a lot of ppl for their advice, encouragement and wishes :) dun worry, will treat u guys a lunch/dinner/loong har salad :)
but bad news is that i have another few more years to suffer :(
anyway, after presentation, i finally had a better sleep.... haha.. slept 5 hours straight in the afternoon.
and as for today, bought something for myself...as a motivation, as a prize for myself... maybe weekends gonna buy even more...i'm still looking for a nice green t-shirt and a watch? sigh... i've spoilt 3 swatch watches... sad... everytime i wear, the watch refuse to tick, and it's not because of low battery... dunno why, just that maybe my body have too many static charges that might spoil the watch mechanism? dunno... really liked swatch but seemed like no fate to wear them... sigh...
anyway, the thing that i bought is a new monkey... keke.. name is Rafat, and he look very compatible with Charlotte (my another female monkey)... tmr going to show off my Rafat...that is if ppl got notice him or not la... haha
weekends will busy myself with lotsa activities... it's been quite awhile i haven't meet up with friends for chit chat... and this sunday got SSO performance at botanical garden at 6pm... playing mendelssohn's and romantic period work... should be a very romantic evening... and somemore it's free admission! don't miss out! i've always missed out free SSO performance...this time not gonna miss it... hehe...

牛郎织女

Today is the 7th day of the 7th Chinese Lunar Month. (七夕)
This is the only day of the year that both Niulang and Zhinv get to see each other. Both are separated and were allowed to rejoin on this day thru a bridge formed by birds. Talk about long distance relationship!
I wonder is it that these two days raining was because of Zhinv crying. Sigh! Poor thing, her eyes must be very swollen...

i'm wondering what i am doing right now?
most ppl at my age, either have lots of $$, building a career, or having preparation for a new family.
i have none of the above... sighz...
i dun have any $$. i dun have a career yet. and i dun even have a mate to start a family.
just wondering only... another 3 months and 20 days... i'm turning 26! but i think i'm in the mindset of forever sticking my age to 25.... haha... still young at heart can already... :)

btw, had a funny conversation with my nephew... he was asking me to sponsor his camera lens... er.... as usual, i say i very poor lor... and he don't believe... and he say i will spend like a duchess for my marriage... HAHA...dunno how he suddenly touched the marriage topic also...
first of all, ur aunty here don't even have a partner to have a marriage in mind lor...
second of all, even if i were to get married, i won't spend $$ on my wedding. just spend a few bucks on ROM fees, a small tea ceremony and one or two dinner table with both sides of the family...GAO DIM! oh and i forgot, need wedding ring hor? no need too extravagant, just a small symbollic of being married... haha... that's all.. simple and practical！:p

home sweet home

i was talking to my friend the other day 'coz i wanted to pass him something back at home...
so he offered to come to my house and collect stuff...
then i asked him, "u still remember my place?"
this is what he replied, "the top of XX garden. who can forget?"
haha... yea... the top of the garden... no need directions also know how to find... haha

my home, was built by my daddy's hands.. even before i was born at that time...
my daddy bought this piece of land, next to a rubber tree area, next to a small hill, and build it with bricks and wood...
my home, a windy place...winds will blow and the sound is quite scary at times, like those in the children's story when it was raining and the trees are swaying hard...
my home, a wild place... u occasionally see wild animals over at my place... wild boar, wild chickens, eagle, snake, squirrel, monkeys, and even tapir too!

ahh... thinking of home... just makes u wanna go back... i really miss home... and i really miss my parents... they provide me with shelter, food and water... sigh... just miss them so much... always praying hard that they are in good shape...

tomorrow morning is the solar eclipse. It will end at 9.40am.

I was told that my astrological sign will have bad effect if i'm outside of my house during that time. Call me superstitious, but i was reminded at least three times to not go out during the eclipse time...really "toink" to follow it, but i've got choice to follow the reminder...

birth.old.sick.death

nothing new to update, i was sick again :s
but recently i received a lot of bad news.
just few days ago, received a message in fb that my classmate's brother had cancer. asking whether can help do some donation for his therapy and other stuff. well, intended to give some donation. but just the next following day, received another news that he passed away already...
life can be so unpredictable. the moment u were living, the next day u were gone.
and i have always wonder why i get sick easily. always have headache, cold etc...
and the other day, my sis noticed i had a strand of gray hair. pure gray... i've never in my life had gray hair... signs of getting old shows up to tell me to take good care of my health...

at this hour, i had a really bad feeling about it...
so when i heard the news through the phone, i was totally in blankness... though i still can listen to the details and everything... after putting down the phone, i sat there, motionless...felt sad...think awhile...and started to have some tears when i told the news to the ppl concerned with the issue...
everyone must stay strong, including myself...here's the time to give support

house moving

ahhhh... i hate house moving...
and for all you know, i regretted for not calling the lorry/van...
made 3 cab trips... scolded by 2 cab drivers (first one was given the wrong pick up address, second one refuse to transport our stuffs to the new place) and the price still comes to the same...
and i never knew we had so much stuff!!!
took 2 days to finally settle all the stuffs and a clean environment to stay in...
now adjusting to new place...not a bad place...though abit noisy, still need sometime to adapt...still got many things to explore here, like what are the good food around here! hahaha
super tired now... sleep liao...

p/s: saw HOD(head of division) at giant hypermart... gave me a very very friendly wave...omg... i think he remembers all his division's students! btw, he has a cute baby in the pram... maybe less than 1 yr old...

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

So so wanna watch transformers 2! waited for so long, ever since the first transformer movie was out, which was in 2007? ahhh, almost 2 years already... opening next week 24th June...can't wait to watch this at my favorite cinema...hehe...
plus, cute Shia is back again! and the autobots and decepticons of course! :)
another plus, soundtrack is again by Linkin Park... been listening to their new song again and again and again...never get bored at all...though still prefer "what i've done" song... but this one not bad too... just love their songs :)

have been very emo lately...
all the negative feelings encountered within these few weeks...
shocked...sad...disgusted...disappointed...frustrated...mad...
a used to be happy go lucky gal suddenly see the world as not that happy as she perceived to be...
and some more you have to put on the big smile as if nothing has happened...those pretentious smile, which last time i hated ppl doing that... but now, i finally understand why ppl like to fake their smile...
it's easier said than done though...
i've discovered the inner side of me that how ugly i can be... to be honest, i've never seen myself getting that mad before... i've never cried so many a times before...
maybe it's the emotional i'm handling thru...need some time to reconstruct my emotions and some confidence...anyway, i will be fine eventually...

then suddenly we touched some disturbing conversation...

my first expression? eh... true or not? how come i don't see one? rumor lah! but makcik say it until like very true... dun wan to argue with her... haha...

anyway, if you didn't do anything wrong, you won't get scared of all these... after all, souls are just another form of being and they were human before...so no harm in them actually...that's what i think lah...
