A Girl's Tolerance

today, i got a question popped up from one of my girlfriends.
She asked, "To what extent do you allow a guy friend to have physical touch on you?"
And immediately i thought she got harassed by her male colleague again? Luckily it was not. She was just curious of my answer and my accepted tolerance.

Well, first of all, we would see the situation lor. Shoulders, arms are okay. and even head or hair are still okay. But a definite no no for legs and backs. But then all these depend on the whole situation. We girls are very sensitive and know what's happening.

Then she asked again, "what about a kiss on the face?"

Then also have to depend on situation lor. If he's a very open minded person and the reason for kissing on face would be meant for greetings or congratulating you, then i wouldn't mind that. Even hugging also okay. and of course, not those bear huggy type la...But then all these only apply to open minded person like ang mohs and very very close friends. Normally asians won't do that. Then my friend say i bias... lol...

All in all, of course we must judge whether there's any other bad intention to just to physically touch you. We girls should have the sense of it. Still can remember whenever I slightly touched this kind of conversation with my ex-bf, wah....garang-nya. I guess this is the male instinct to try and protect their gf from those perverts. But then, trust us girls, we know how to judge and how to handle a pervert. Hard to explain but it's one of our borned instinct too :)

Charmed!

Oh gosh! *blushes*

A new male character has got magic charms on me.

A British guy named Luke Brandon.

An entrepreneur, who owns Brandon Communications, top 35 wealthiest bachelor in UK.

A very sweet gentleman. God! Good looking! Charming!

Rebecca Bloomwood is so lucky to have him!

If you still don't know who Mr Brandon is. Well, watch "Confessions of a shopaholic" or read it!

I mean, how lucky it is for a girl to find someone so charming, good looking and successful and fell in love with you. Some sort of secretly admiring you and giving you those mixed signals whether he's fooling with you or really into you?

Oh gosh! It's been a long while that I'm admiring some character from movies, books, or tv series.

Too list a few, remember Charmed? about 3 witches who have powers to ward off the evil demons. The demon who impersonate as attorney who tries to kill the witches, fell in love with Phoebe. And from bad turn to good. Awww, he could even sacrifice himself just to be with her. How cool is that? But i didn't like the same actor in Nip/Tuck... haha... that explains that i only fell in love with the character and not the looks. :p

Another character is Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Initially he was portrayed as a very arrogant man, with too much pride inside him. Doesn't mingle around with other people. But then he was later discovered of his soft side and his kindness. And he fell in love with Elizabeth but have too much of pride to tell Elizabeth about it.

Hah! Too many characters that have left those magical charm in my heart. The prince in white horse and all those. But all those are quite fairy tale, which only happen in the fictional world, instead of the reality. But then again, kinda hope there would be someone out there like Luke Brandon. At least can make some friends. haha

Well, now it's back to reality. No more fairy tale. haha

Hah-Choo!

Man, these few days really have been getting a lot of sneezes. Initially thought it was a sign of getting a cold, which happened last 2 weeks. And I thought that after having the cold, the sneezing would halt. But it's not. Everyday, at least twice having Hah-Choos! Could it be that I'm sensitive to something that I don't know? I wonder... My friend even joked saying that somebody is missing me... LOL! I wonder who initiated this statement, that when you sneeze, somebody out there is missing you. I wonder...

It's just that it's very irritating to get the sneezes all the time, especially when you are in midst of something. For an example, if you are eating halfway and you feel like sneezing, Oh NO! what if you sneeze and the food that you were chewing spurted out...EWWWWW.... disgusting....or or the food went into your nostril...OUCH.... pain...

Another example is when you are in a very urgent need to go toilet, then suddenly there's another urge to sneeze before you are able to reach the toilet... Errmmm.. this needs a lot of kung fu in order not to pee in pants... LOL!

Anyway, if somebody out there is missing me, please don't! haha.. just kidding =p

In the meantime, think i need to pop some vits also. Hopefully all these will subside...

Hotel626

Warning: This game is not for the light-hearted ones! Please do not enter if you are easily afraid or scared. I warned you!

http://hotel626.com

it would be even more frightening to play this with loud speakers/earphones and switch off your lights. hehe. It's a flash games and the setting is that you are trapped in the hotel and want to find the way out.

But even if you played it in the broad daylight, it's kinda creepy. Maybe it was the sound effect that makes you feel scared. hehe.. If any of you know any other games like these, please share ya! these can give you some suspense and destress! :p

Eyeball Scare

Today, something very embarassing thing happened. Sheeesh! A lesson well learned.

I was trying out my new pair of daily disposable contact lens that i bought the other day. 10 pieces for $15. (no need to buy those boxes as they are quite a lot. that's what i was thinking)

Anyway, as a first time user, i managed to pick up my courage to poke my fingers to my eyeball. Really need a lot of courage as all this while I had fear of touching my eyeballs.

Ok, putting it on was not that bad after all. But somehow, I felt abit giddy after wearing the contact lens. It's like u wore a much higher power kind of spectacles that make u feeling abit nauseous.

Then here's where the most valuable lesson i've learnt. Since I was feeling not very comfortable with the lenses, I tried to remove it. But then, I couldn't remove it. I could not see where the lenses are. So i pushed and pushed to try and remove it. And my eye started to twitch. From my single eyelid to double eyelid. Panic! Something was wrong already. I thought the lens was moving to the eyelid already. PANIC PANIC! And i was late for my violin lesson :(

Without second thought, I went to the nearest optical shop to ask them to help me remove it. Sigh. There was a lot of customer there and the optometrist was busy attending them. Finally when it was my turn, she open my left eyelid and keep checking where is the lens. And she also couldn't find it. She asked me what contact lenses was i using. I replied "focus daily". then she said, "HAH?! First time users not supposed to use that brand! It's difficult for them to remove it" then i was like "uh oh!"

After that she had a thorough search, she said the lens is not at the lid there. Maybe dropped off already. Erm... I don't remember it was dropped off. So i asked her to help me remove the right eyes' contact lens. So she helped me removed it. Hey! after removing it, my eyesight is still okay. So i asked her to help me check my left eye again whether the lens was at the eyeball there. and there it was! She helped me remove it also. What a relief! My blur eyesight is back! Thank god my eyes are okay!

After this incident, never will i ever wear contact lens anymore! what if i could have blinded by these stupid contact lens? What a scary thought! but funny thing is, normally the contact lens that people wear are very visible when you look into their eyeball, as you can see a circle covering the eyeball. But mine was not detectable when wearing it. Even the optometrist couldn't see the lens was indeed at the eyeball when she was searching for it.

So here's a thought. Maybe i'm not suitable to wear contact lens as my eyeballs are too big! But the optometrist didn't say that lah. She asked me to buy contact lens from her somemore. Anyway, for first time users, please do not use focus daily. The optometrist recommend to use Bausch and Lomb contact lens.

After all, i curbed my fear of poking contact lens into my eyes. That's what I've been challenging myself all this while. coz i'm the one who wants to try anything at least once in a lifetime. But because i'm not that suitable for it, I will never wear it again. And for the sake of my health. :)
